The Blog Is Back!

After a bit of a hiatus from the summer of 2023 to the back end of 2024 my time was taken up with other more pressing matters so blogging took a back seat. Added to that I decided a change in hosting provider was called for since the cost of the one I was using had risen by ridiculous amounts over the last couple of years. It was now to the point of my being unable to justify paying out such an extortionate amount of money every year just to keep an online diary which very few read. I have now found a more affordable option and hopefully I can get back to sharing my life with those of you who do like to read about my antics or look at my photos. However I am not going to push myself to publishing weekly articles since I have many other interests I am eager to pursue these days. Maybe they will find their way onto the blog at some point. In the meantime I have managed to transfer most of the Posts from the old site to the new one intact so I have at least got a site to publish. Then came the task of finding a theme I liked and which I could customise the way I wanted. Not easy as by downgrading there is less choice and less adaptability. Well, you gets what you pays for in this world. I found one which suited my needs but it has been a frustrating few days customising it. Anyhoo, it’s now done bar a few tweaks along the way as needed so I’d love for you to re-read some of the old posts from the archives, as I have been doing whist setting up the site which is why it has taken so long, until I manage to get some new content up.
